The DVR2 is the now well established and regarded solid state dynamo voltage regulator from MTML. It was formerly supplied only via a well known classic motorcycle electrical specialist.
Suitable as a replacement for the original electromechanical 'CVC' regulator units on dynamo Classic Motorcycles fitted with dynamo electrics.

  •     Or mount on its own via the two M4 threaded 'ears' (screws supplied)
  •     Fitted with heavy duty 3 mm diameter leads and good quality 4.7 mm hexagon crimp terminals
  •     Use with Lucas or Miller and other (Field wired to earth) dynamos

    Available in positive and negative earth versions, 6 or 12 V selectable. Set to 6 V by connecting an additional (white) wire, 12 V by leaving it unconnected (insulated). The module is compact and does not run hot. This means it can be fitted as a stand alone unit, in a toolbox or bolted to rear mudguard, etc. or housed in either a Lucas or Miller regulator case, to maintain original appearance.

    The DVR2 may not be the cheapest regulator available but its performance and reliability is superior to competitors.
    No battery discharge to field at low revs and stable voltage after cut in regardless of engine speed.
