MTML was founded as Manor Technology in 1993 primarily to pursue new ideas in Condition Monitoring by Wear Debris Analysis.
Since then we have steadily enhanced our reputation for innovative and dependable technology,
working with Defence Agencies, Armed Services, Oil Companies, Analysis Laboratories, Test Equipment Suppliers, Aerospace, Marine and other Industrials.
Consultancy Activities
In addition we undertake consultancy work in related technical areas, especially those involving inductive and capacitive sensors.
We have many years experience in sensor techniques, especially those involving impedance measurements.
Specialists in low noise and precision transducer interface circuit design.
MIDAS oil and grease ferrous debris monitor
Another simple but successful MIDAS development provides ferrous wear reading for both oil and grease samples.
Grease samples can be analysed with the standard MIDAS-Oil unit by cutting the tip of the standard sample tube,
to allow grease to be syringed in, whilst air escapes from the open base.
A perfectly practical procedure, especially if not handling a great many grease samples.
We have demonstrated a battery pack consisting of 2 AA cells and powers a standard MIDAS unit for 10+ hours.
Hundreds of samples may be conveniently measured where neither mains power nor a vehicle supply are to hand.
Motorcycle Regulators
In addition we have designed and supply voltage regulator units to suit classic motorcycles fitted with dynamo electrics.
