The maximum benefit from debris monitoring is to be gained from a 'live' device continuously monitoring the lubrication flow for wear particles as soon as they are generated. Particle detection in-line provides the maximum early warning of problems, and avoids potential further damage.

PATROL's advanced sensor and electronics give it the best sensitivity to ferrous debris currently available anywhere. Evaluated by QinetiQ (formerly DERA) (QinetiQ Fuels & Lubricants) on behalf of UK MoD for critical Aerospace requirements.

PATROL will detect individual ferrous debris particles with an equivalent diameter of 50 microns or less, in a 11 mm bore line. Integral high temperature electronics ensure the best EMC perfomance.
